rom Walla Walla College, minoring in Physical Education. He spent 4 years pastoring ir
Alaska interning in Dillingham, Anchorage, Fairbanks and North Pole before becoming
pastor of the North Pole and Delta Junction district. Brant completed a Master of

Although pastoral ministry was rewarding, teaching and Biblical Study have been
Brants passion and calling, so he and his family returned to Andrews University in 2007
to begin his PhD in Religion, New Testament Studies. His doctoral dissertation (in
progress) focuses on narrative in Revelation. While at Andrews this second time, he
gained more ministry experience both in the local Stevensville church as an elder, and at
the Theological Seminary as a contract Greek teacher and tutor, cementing his love for
sharing the Bible with students in the classroom.
At Walla Walla, he teaches Greek, Biblical interpretation, the Gospels, and studies in
Daniel and Revelation. One of the delights of teaching is interacting with students
outside the classroom--worshipping, fellowshipping, serving, and playing together.
Living in the great Northwest, near family, friends, and the mountains, is a dream-come
true for Brant. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading, and outdoor
activities like cycling, disc golf and others, especially with his grown children, Conner
and Cami.
