Pastor Lyle Arakaki was born and raised in Hawaii. For 27 years, he pastored the Honolulu Japanese Seventh-day Adventist Church. In 2007 he accepted an invitation to pastor the Roseburg Seventh-day Adventist Church
in Roseburg, Oregon. After 5 years in Oregon, he began pastoring our church on November 3, 2012.
Along with receiving his master's degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, Pastor Lyle also earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the San Francisco Theological Seminary. Pastor Lyle and his wife, Iris, have five children and three grandchildren.
Pastor Lyle Arakaki is retiring. March 28, 2020 was to be his last Sabbath with us. Unfortunately, church will have to be done individually. Click here to read Pastor Lyle's farewell message.
