Pastor Ryan Wilson was born in central California but considers himself a native of western Washington as he's lived here since 2 years of age. He believes deeply in Adventist Education and is a product of Auburn Adventist Academy (2004), Walla Walla University (BA in Theology, 2009), and Andrews University (Mdiv, 2015). While attending school at Walla Walla University, he met and fell in love with his wife Erin. They have been married since 2008 and have two children: Bradley and Cassie. Erin is an Elementary School Teacher and teaches grades 6-8 at the Forest Park Adventist Christian School.
Before coming to the Forest Park SDA Church, Ryan and Erin served at the Chehalis and Winlock Churches prior to their trip to the Seminary at Andrews University and for the last 5 years have pastored the Port Angeles and Forks district on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Ryan's pastoral passions include preaching, teaching the Bible, connecting with young people, evangelism and chaplaincy. In his most recent pastoral assignment he served as the Chaplain for the Port Angeles Police Department.
